Dominant racing in Germany in August and September

It’s been a while till my last update, I was not only mucking around though. Instead I trained to better my best and lined up a lot of races in Germany. I won 5 half distances, for example the big races in Cologne and Frankfurt.

In the second half of September I trained at the great Las Playitas on Fuerteventura. The set-up there is just perfect to get the last fitness needed for Kona. It was a great time together with my coach Ute Mückel and my training partner Huib von Engelen. Back home I could get a new pb on a 10 k race and with a lot of confidence I made my way towards Hawaii.
